Dr. Rakesh Barot is one of the prominent and trustworthy name of the medical profession. He holds the degree of B.A.M.S ( Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) and has been successfully rendering his service as a medical practitioner as well as the fitness consultant in Surat city, Gujarat for more than 20 years.

Dr. Rakesh prefers to treat his patients/ clients in a very different and unique way. He prefers the holistic way of treatment. According to him,"prevention first, treatment second." He strongly believes that the patient/ client is first a ' PERSON'- a human being and not a 'Man with disease', so he heals not only the symptoms of the disease but rather he focuses more on the cause of the disease.

 When you generally consult a doctor to cure your illness, he prescribes some tests and then some medicine accordingly. But Dr. Rakesh examins the patient/ client with a broad outlook. He investigates the root of the disease, examines the patient/ client properly and scientifically and finally suggests the better life style along with nutrition plan ( diet plan), training schedule ( exercise plan), necessary medicine or suppliment  considering mental health ( stress reduction)- in short the elixir….the total solution of the problem which is very necessary for the  patient/ client for his health and well-being.

Achievements
He is a 4th dan black belt in Taekwondo ( WTF) and National refree ( Taekwondo is a Korean martial art of self defense and Olympic game). Recog.by Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Govt.of India and Olympic authority of India.

He comes from the family of medical profession. He is the son of Late Dr. Vasantkumar Barot ( Ex. RMO in Surat Civil Hospital) and Mrs. Dr. Yamuna V. Barot ( Retired HOD in Gynecology department at Ayurvedic college and hospital, Surat, Gujarat).
